I was working in my family's construction business when I picked up a GoPro and couldn't put it down. A Phantom 3 came next — the first time I sent it a couple thousand feet up, everything changed. In 2017 a film I made in Iceland took off on YouTube, and I've been making films full-time ever since.
Today I direct aerial work for CineSalon, license footage through Artlist and Artgrid, run Fujiabra Films with my wife, and teach other filmmakers. I'm happiest somewhere wide open — Iceland, Japan, the Isle of Skye — with no crowds and a full battery.
